If you routinely perform compression tasks (such as daily backups) you can automate them with PowerZip Macro Files. PowerZip Macro File stores all compression or extraction options and allows you to repeat the stored operation with a double-click or include it as part of a larger script.
If you need to distribute large files to friends, colleagues or customers who might not have a Zip program, PowerZip allows you to easily create a self-extracting Zip files that can be unzipped with a simple double-click. You can set many options including default destination folder, start-up messages, command to execute after unzipping and others.
