DFSS XL is an Excel Add-In which facilitates Design for Six Sigma initiatives. Features include Monte Carlo Simulations ( Define your inputs and outputs using Excel formulas and run fast Monte Carlo Simulations. Up to 1 million simulations in less than 5 seconds - typical results. ), Parameter Design (Find the optimal set points for your design using the powerful optimizer built into DFSS XL), Tolerance Allocation Tables (Understand which of your inputs the process is most sensitive to), Design Scorecard (Enter Part, Process, and Performance information to track the capability and maturity of your design. Create Paretos of defects per unit to help allocate critical resources), Sampling Matrices (Create Latin Hyper Cube Samples and Descriptive Samples for validation strategies. Ideal for efficient representative testing), Nearly Orthogonal Latin Hypercube Sampling (Create NOLHS designs which are ideal for multilevel experiments with deterministic simulators), Quality Function Deployment (Create and edit houses of quality and pairwise comparison matrices). Several new features are supported in the 2007 version. These include Excel 2007 compatibility and support for Microsoft’s Ribbon Interface; Unified Menus that allow multiple products to be grouped under the same menu item, taking less space on Excel’s menu bar and on the new Excel 2007 ribbon; digital signatures on all products, allowing users to bypass the “Enable Macros” dialog box; Smart Select of Columns or Rows, a feature that allows users to select the correct data set by selecting entire columns or rows.
