RAV AntiVirus for Mail Servers scans and cleans incoming and outgoing e-mail messages and all types of attachments including archives, exe files, embedded files, etc. It helps you avoid Internet malwares (viruses, worms, Trojans, hoaxes, etc.), bulk mail and information leaks.
When finding infected/suspicious objects, customizable warning mails can be sent to the sender, receiver(s) and system administrator(s), according to the specified settings.
RAV AntiVirus for Mail Servers (Linux) is a
Level 1 and Level 2 CHECKMARK certified product.
RAV Antivirus for Mail Servers products run as plugins on each of the following MTAs: Sendmail, Libmilter, Postfix, CommuniGate Pro, Exim, Exchange 5.5, Exchange 2000, DMail, Courier, running Linux, Solaris, Unixware, MacOS X, BSD flavors, Windows, on i386, s/390 and sparc and PowerPC.
RAV AntiVirus for Sendmail scans all incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring mail server protection both ways and thus reducing all threats to the very minimum.
The scanning daemon can be easily and fully configured using an admin-friendly Web interface (RAVMD Webconfig). Information leaks prevention: The CONTENT FILTERING and GROUP CONFIGURATION features determine RAV to be the safest way to control your business. RAV AntiVirus for Sendmail restricts the e-mail flow according to defined parameters/patterns. You can configure specific groups (for example the accounting department from your company) and set RAV to deny all outgoing mail which you define as containing confidential information, respective to patterns set.
Bulk mail protection: Using the CONTENT FILTERING and GROUP CONFIGURATION features, RAV AntiVirus for Sendmail acts as a spam filter, blocking incoming mail from certain addresses, as set by the server administrator.
Intelligent Update: The Update process may be performed on demand or on a scheduled basis, according to administrator╥s settings.
