AVIRA Antivirus Desktop Update Package v 1.1.0 includes periodically generated update files for AVIRA Desktop for Windows, helping you to stay protected even when you do not access the Internet on a daily basis.
This is an easy-to-use update package, which wraps up the update files for the scan engine and the virus definitions file. Their installation will be automatic, by means of a Windows Installer; a repair/remove option is available, in case the installation process does not run properly on your computer.
Main Benefits:
- antivirus protection for users that do not access the Internet on a daily basis;
- all-in-one package, updating the virus definitions file and the scan engine module;
- automatic installation by means of an Installation Wizard;
- repair and remove options to restore the previous files or to uninstall the package in case the update process happens to fail.
Note: The software can be installed only in conjunction with AVIRA Desktop for Windows v 1.0.0 in the evaluation or commercial version.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
- AVIRA Desktop for Windows with a valid license or evaluation key
- Windows Installer 2.0*
- RAR unpacker, in case you want to perform the installation manually
*Windows Installer comes with Windows 2000 with Service Pack 3, Windows 2003 and Windows XP.
